Beach Boys tribute band Surfin' Safari will be appearing at The Clark Center for the Performing Arts, on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8pm.
Surfin' Safari is the most musically and visually satisfying Beach Boys tribute band on the scene today. Boasting the high visibility of music director Chris Farmer, who directed the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean and the Drifters, Surfin' Safari is the Beach Boys tribute to see.
With tight harmonies, excellent musicianship and a commitment to the accurate reproduction of the repertoire of songs of "California's Band," their show is a faithful recreation of what it was like to see the Beach Boys live and in their prime.
The incomparable beauty of their vocal harmonies, the crashing back beat of Dennis Wilson's drums, the soaring surf guitar of Carl Wilson and the genius of Brian Wilson's music is captured in a Surfin' Safari performance. The uniband choreography, vintage instruments, famous striped shirts and black suede Beach Boys boots all add to the visual replication of the Beach Boys phenomenon.

"Since the Beach Boys' harmonies are well-known to even the casual fan, there is no room for error with a Beach Boys tribute band," said manager Brian Beirne ('Mr. Rock N' Roll"), of KRTH radio fame. "This band works very hard at making sure the songs are recreated note for note."
"Surfin' Safari has truly captured the essence of the original Beach Boys and their stunning harmonies," said Beirne. "This is a way for all to see and hear what the original Beach Boys were like in the early 60's."
