Xombiewoof.Com Begins first Charitable Movements "Personal Note" and “Heartbeat 4 Kids” begins .
In our present economy, educational facilities and schools are cutting programs that they feel do not merit attention, this is unfortunate because the children of our schools are the ones that suffer.
Xombiewoof Magazine is starting a charitable cause “Personal Note”, this program seeks to re-establish music programs in schools and build a child’s sense of self through Musical Expression. We are looking for assistance from our friends and partners in the musical communities throughout the United States and abroad to make music in schools and children’s everyday life possible.
We are asking for assistance in the following ways, we know finances are tight and everyone is struggling, but for just a little bit from many, it can make a difference.
1. Musical Instruments: most of the issues stem from schools not having enough resources to provide working, quality instruments to their students. If there are any musicians who have instruments, in any working condition, we have connected with several instrument refurbishing facilities that will make instruments sing again, donation of your instrument or equipment component is tax deductible.
2. Books, Training Materials, Music Lessons: Do you have any Old Music Books or Practice materials just lying around, do you teach music lessons or want to teach? We would like to ask that you consider sending us the Learning materials to distribute to schools and community centers that can make use of them. If you teach, we would like to add you to our list of volunteers that would be willing to donate time to assist in teaching music. We would pair you with a facility in your area and ask for a commitment of no more than 40 hours of your time, in ½ hour increments over the period of one month. Donation of your materials or time may be tax deductible.
3. Funds: If you are so inclined to make a financial donation, we can either accept said donation of funds to redistribute to needy schools and community centers, we can present the donation in your name or it can be donated anonymously. We ask that you contact us personally before sending any funds. You may contact us at xombiewoofmail@aol.com any financial donation is tax deductible.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by email at xombiewoofmail@aol.com, if you are making a donation of materials, supplies or Instruments, contact our email to let us know and we will send you an address where the materials will be received, refurbished and distributed to children throughout the United States that very desperately need your support. If you want to call us, we can be reached at 805-598-9342.
We have plans to contact musicians to donate song tracks to a CD Compilation that will be sold online. The CD sales will raise fund to donate to Musical Programs around the United States. If you are in a performance group and want to be a part of this charitable function, contact us at xombiewoofmail@aol.com, we are looking for any song style, resources and a Studio to assist in production and manufacturing.
