Alternative Press, the definitive source for information about the underground music scene since 1985, is proud to announce AP #285, its 100 Bands You Need To Know In 2012 issue.
Featured as one of the illustrious and prestigious bands you NEED to know is Australia’s The Amity Affliction, who will release their Roadrunner debut in 2012.

The annual special—which is now in its twelfth year—highlights up-and-coming acts from the worlds of rock, punk, pop, indie, hardcore, metal, electronica and screamo; the expectation with inclusion is that these bands are poised to have a breakout year in 2012.
TAA are certainly on the brink of a big, big year in 2012 and beyond, so they are incredibly honored to be selected by AP as a Band You Need to Know.
The issue is available to pre-order now via Altpress.com; customers can choose between the cover featuring Colorado electropop duo Breathe Carolina or Michigan metalcore sextet We Came As Romans.
AP #285 will start hitting newsstands the weekend of March 2, with an official street date of March 6.

The band will return to the US for Alternative Press’s free SxSW show – 100 Bands You Need To Know – March 17 at Red 7 and then will be a part of the Still Reckless tour with Asking Alexandria, launching March 20.
