Metal Church have prepared a new bone crushing, brain smashing and mind splitting onslaught of sound that will make you a believer!

Since their inception, Metal Church has been, and continues to be a force in Metal to be respected, with pure talent and hard driving vocals; they have recorded albums that are original in construct and unique among their peers. Now Generation Nothing, their latest release, joins the arsenal of albums that are a tribute to their creator.

Founding band members of the West Coast Metal scene of the 80's, Metal Church quickly rose to the top of the Metal ranks and signed on to a major label.

Throughout the years, and with lineup changes, each incarnation was memorable for the unique talents each member had to offer, but their present elite arrangement of Kurdt Vanderhoof, Ronny Munroe, Rick Van Zandt, Jeff Plate and Steve Unger have that sound that metal church was always remembered and is still loved for – DRIVING, THRASHING METAL, but moreover, a more refined sound that is hypnotic. I have always been a big Metal Church Fan, but getting a chance to review Generation Nothing is an honor, and an album long overdue!

Metal Church on Rat Pak Records

To say that Metal Church is one of the best of American Heavy Metal is an understatement, they are among Metal’s “Founding Fathers” in Metal and have not dulled with age, in fact they have excelled in their skills, the musical composition is sublime and the Vocals on Generation Nothing are hard, edgy, driven and rich in lyrical context. From the first track “Bulletproof” to “Dead City”, songs with a vocals that defy you to turn your ears away, “Scream” with its drum heavy rhythm, on to the final track “The Media Horse” and it’s perfectly timed attack on the senses, and every track in between, the whole album is masterful. But not to be ignored, the title track, “Generation Nothing”, words cannot do justice, you just have to hear it for yourself.

Rat Pak Records has put this album of Metal Mastery and Mayhem before you; it would be a sin not to attend to the altar of the Metal Church, May the Dark Lords of Rock have Mercy upon you soul!
