DAVE WIDOW RETURNS TO "DOWN 2 THE CROSSROADS"

(CLARKSDALE, MISS)  - Dave Widow once again returns to teach and preach the Gospel of the Blues at Down 2 The Crossroads in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The five-day guitar and bass 'retreat' offers a full immersion

in the Blues for Blues Guitar and Bass players of all levels, taking place in the heart of the land where the Blues began, all at the rustic, famed Shack Up Inn

Widow is a guitarist-singer-songwriter whose most recent album, "Waiting For The World To End" was voted in the "Top 5 Best Self-Produced CDs" category by the prestigious IBC (International Blues Challenge) in Memphis last year and which continues to receive steady airplay on "B.B. King's Bluesville" heard over Sirius XM. The Los Angeles-based Widow regularly performs as Dave Widow & The Lineup with some of the best musicians in the business, and is a past "Musical Group of the Year" nominee (2012 L.A. Music Awards).

Copies of "Waiting For The World To End" are among the promotional prizes to be given away during the upcoming KKJZ 88.1 FM Pledge Drive during the second week of March. Widow's music is regularly played on the renowned Long Beach, Calif-based station's long-running show, "Nothin' But The Blues" hosted by longtime SoCal air personality, Gary "Wagman" Wagner.
