Orange Announce Partnership With Camp Jam

Orange Amplification, famous for being used by some of the greatest guitarist on the planet, have partnered with Camp Jam, the nation’s premier provider of rock music summer camps and educational rock ‘n’ roll music programs for their Summer 2014 camp series. Campers, referred to as Jammers, will rehearse, record, and perform like rock stars during curriculum-based day camp and have access to use a range of Orange amps throughout the programs.

Famous musicians from some of America’s favorite rock ‘n’ roll bands will lend their talents to the camps.

“For 11 years, Camp Jam has been enriching young lives through rock ‘n’ roll music,” said Jeff Carlisi, lead guitarist for .38 Special and Camp Jam co-founder. “I started Camp Jam with the idea that everyone needed to experience the rush of playing in a band. In addition to learning from a staff of caring professionals, Jammers will be treated to master classes with celebrity recording artists. Troy Lawrence, guitarist for Evanescence, Liberty DeVitto, drummer for Billy Joel; Jennifer Batten, guitarist for Michael Jackson; Richard Fortus, guitarist for Guns n Roses; Darryl Jones, bass player for the Rolling Stones; Ed Roland, vocals for Collective Soul are just an example of the artists that work with Camp Jam. Orange Amplification is proud to be working with Camp Jam this summer and providing their award winning amps across the events. Their new Crush Pro series will be powering performances on the main stage with all the visiting rock stars using them for their shows and as well the students for their final camp concerts. The 30 watt Crush Pro amps will also be used in the rehearsal rooms and recording classes. Registrants will also be able to purchase the Orange Crush PiX range at a reduced cost prior to arrival at the camps.

Guitarists, bass players, keyboard players, drummers and vocalists will unleash their inner rock star at Camp Jam. Programs are available for ages 11 to 17 with varying skill levels. Overnight, Day and Extended Day camps are available. Spaces are filling very fast. Early enrollment is suggested.
