What was Lewis Black like when he was younger? Did he have a positive outlook on life in the ‘80s and grow disenchanted as he got older? Comedy Central Records releases Lewis Black's "The Prophet" CD on Tuesday, September 27 2011, this historic album from America’s foremost commentator on everything gives a telling, hilarious insight into Black’s earlier years in standup before "The Daily Show," before the Grammys® and before the massive fame. "The Prophet" CD was recorded in late 1990 while Lewis was on tour and exemplifies his acid-tongued wit, his prescience about what matters and his hilarious takes on the politics of the times.
Lewis toured clubs and colleges through the end of the 20th century.
